Sim card swapping

Received a message from DSTV to bring in my smart card for a swap. Card was working fine. Their excuse is that they are doing a software update. Got to the customer centre. New sim card given. The service agent tells me that there will be an error code after I insert the sim card (Why give me something that is faulty). Gave me a pamphlet stating the steps to take to clear my error. Provides a list of error codes and an sms procedure to have the error cleared. It is clearly marked. "SMS the following: "smartcard number error code" to 32472. Did that and got a message from 27870441452 saying " We are unable to process your request. Pls SMS onscreen error code followed by your smartcard number. I did all these, as confusing as the messages are. Still not having my NEW smart card linked to my OLD receiver. BAD CONFUSING SERVICE INDEED
