Booked a ticket at the Self Service Machine half an hour before the movie, The Croods, was due to start on 1 April 2013 at Ster Kinekor East Rand Mall. After buying refreshments the lady that assisted us with the refreshments requested our tickets to tear off the entrance pass. She then informed us that The Croods will not be showing due to a technical problem. They refunded the tickets, but there we stood like with our popcorn, etc. and no movie to see. Better organisation is strongly suggested. What a disappointment for the children who were so looking forward to seeing the movie. The staff did not seem interested or concerned about the inconvenience caused. When I was standing waiting for the refund they still did not update their information board to alert customers that the movie was cancelled. Poor show Ster Kinekor. Very disappointing!
