Wrong Details on Statement

Our Multichoice payments were made by debit order. I received a statement for box office account last year. I made a payment in November. I received the next statement and the amount I paid was not reflecting on the box office account. On the 3rd of Jan I emailed the email address on the statement with the proof of payment. I received no response so emailed again on the 10th. Still no response. Today I phoned and am told that I should not use the e-mail address on the statement for queries. Julia then looked into my query and tells me that I used the wrong banking details so the amount I paid was allocated to my normal dstv account. The banking details used were the ones that appear on my Multichoice Box office statement so I am not sure how I can be told that I used the wrong details. Multichoice have the wrong details on the statement. How is it that Multichoice can have incorrect info on their statement and then tell me I got it wrong.
