I had recently booked a long awaited family vacation through bookings.com which is a subsidiary of anytime holiday (which i have had previous issues with). It had been eagerly awaited as our family had not been on vacation for a long while. After all the planning saving and preparing we left on our vacation. Upon arriving at our resort we were asked to pay for the duration of our stay which was expected. A amount of R5700 was paid. On the 3/05/2017 we were getting ready to leave when early in the morning we received a sms informing us that a amount of R5700 was debited from our account again by your company. To my dismay as that was the spending money we had worked so hard to save. We immediately made contact with your company an was assisted by Dilen who tried to no avail to get back our funds. He spoke to the finance department and was assured by someone that we would receive a refund immediately. Unfortunately the day was lost...the next day we woke up made contact with him again an again was promised that the money would be returned after several calls that day we were again left with empty promises and no money. All this time myself and my family were stuck at the resort with no funds to do anything as everything in Hazyview costs money. The following days were exactly the same as much was promised and nothing was delivered. Eventually our concern turned from wanting to do things in Hazyview and rather just wanting to get home as the end of our “awesome family vacation” had arrived and now it was time to return home. Eventually after many phone calls and just as many empty promises after having to borrow money to fuel up an embark on our 800km journey the money was returned on Saturday . This mail is just to thank you guys for been so helpful and understanding of our predicament also just to say that we will never book with you guys again and we will be informing all our friends and family about the awe inspiring service we received from your company .
