Firstly, I am disgusted with the call centre service that DSTV provides. In most cases you will find an impatient and very unprofessional person... that's if you'll ever get through. Secondly, there's no vetting process with the bank to validate if the account numbers provided (by new and existing subscribers) are actually the correct individual's account number. DSTV is currently debiting my account without my permission for another client's subscription. Even after DSTV received a call from my Bank instructing them that the account number that they have on their records doesn't match their client's profile..., still nothing has been done to date. I am left with no choice but to have to instruct the bank to reverse the transaction every time there's a debit on my account. This is time consuming, inconveniencing and UNACCEPTABLE.
