StarSat worse that TopTV

I am appalled by the service from StarSat and their call centre. After numerous phone calls and complaints to the StarSat call centre, we are still without ANY service (for more then 4 days now) and every time I phone there is a different excuse to why our service has been cut.

After more than 2 hours (122 minutes) on the phone and 11 calls to StarSat with explanations ranging from technical problems, not being a trustworthy client and payment not reflecting on their side we still don't have any service.

We have been subscribing to TopTV from when they first stared broadcasting in South Africa three years ago, and have never had any problems with our account. We had a debit order from the beginning.

All the problems started when TopTV became StarSat. These days one don't know when what show airs as their EPG is incorrect, there are sound and picture quality problems that does not seem to get better and worst of all is that most of their new channels are in other languages or dubbed.

I hope for your sake you did not think that South Africa are like the rest of Africa that are used to third world service and quality, as your competitor here is a world class broadcaster.
