I would like to state that this is not a full complaint as my guest, family and i enjoyed the venue and would highly recommend and definitely come back at every chance we get. It is brilliant and some of the people are friendly. The charge is very reasonable as well. We did not have any huge issue's besides the small matter below which clearly needs to be addressed prior to booking of the venue. I would suggest make a brief contract for every host to sign, in order to avoid misunderstanding which would result in bad reputation and a loss of interest. Rietvlei farm is an ideal place to host a party especially for kids! My entire family love the place to bits.
I hosted my baby's birthday party on Sunday at the Rietvlei Zoo Farm.
Upon booking the venue, i was quiet excited (Like a kid unwrapping a present) as i booked the biggest venue on site, which is the Chameleon Lapa, upon my booking i enquired if i could have the patch of garden cordoned off to prevent the public from using the jumping castle and obstructing the family games which we had planned for the day. The lady assisting me confirmed verbally that yes they do this, and it can be done for me, she also at the same time
