On or about February 2013, I owed Multichoice and as a result, my tv was disconnected. On 18th July 2013 I called in Multichoice to enquire how much is my account with all the areas so that I can pay and be re-connected. I was informed that from the time I was disconnected to the 18th of July 2013 I owe R1304.40 which included the arreas and the connection fee. On 18th July I made payment in the amount of R1304.40 as informed and was reconnected. On 20 August I called in to change my payment dates from the 1st to the 19th and I was informed that in order to do so, I will have to pay the normal R275 plus the prorated fee for upto 19 September 2013 to avoid disconnection, which I did pay it R425.95. On 20 September my account was debited R162.72 which they were not supposed to deduct because I paid in August for August and September. Now I called and spoke to Ronel the supervisor who cannot tell me what happened to the R150.95. She tells me about the reconnection fee, which I dont understand cos I paid in July and in August and I would have never been disconnected. And even if I was disconnected it cannot be R150.00. Please help!
