I am a regular at the movies and i always go to SterKinekor at Gateway Umhlanga as its closest to me, however recently the service levels have dropped to a standard where i dont even feel like going to the movies anymore.
On Saturday night my wife, sister and I decided to go watch a movie. We used the self help terminals to buy our tickets. We had bought 3 tickets for the movie DEAD EVIL starting at 22h30.
1. We stood in the popcorn line for about 25 minutes when we got to the front we ordered 3 kids combo's all with Astro's. The lady gave us one with Astros and told us there is no more astros, I looked at the terminal next to hers and it was full of Astros. When i told her there is she said its not in her stock. WHAT THE FLIP? IS THAT MY PROBLEM?
2. Finally got the popcorn order when to the person that checks the tickets before you can enter the cinema. Then she says this showing has been cancelled. How did you sell me tickets if there is no movie showing?
3.By then i was frusterated and she said we can watch any other movie, so we watched PAIN & GAIN. We had to move about 10 times cos we had no seat numbers.
This is really really poor standards.
