I would like to voice my absolute dismay with the fact that DSTV/Multichoice just cancelled or allowed ESPN to cancel their channels in SA. I have been watching Sportscenter every day for the last 13 years and have followed the NBA, NFL, MLB and NHL for that same amount of time and has become part of my life and now NOTHING! They renegotiated with ESPN for other sports but not the important ones because the rights are not CHEAP! We pay R800 per month (hard earned money) for DSTV but for Multichoice it is more important to take care of their bottom line than to listen to their clients and their needs.
Mr CEO - WAKE UP! You have the opportunity to put South African ads on the LONG ad breaks and make your money back! There is your value proposition!
