For the last couple of years DSTV Compact and (recently added) Extra subscribers were able to watch ELLEN, The Doctors, Modern Family etc etc now that DSTV has changed its channels and split these series up over three channels. I myself a DSTV extra subscriber can no longer watch the above mentioned series as they are only available to premium subscribers. Instead they have given us one channel out the three channels showing OLD series reruns. This is so unacceptable as DSTV has taken all the value out of our viewing pleasure to those who can only afford the the R380.00 subscription and not the R 625.00 premium subscription.
If it is DSTV idea of getting the public who can only afford the lower packages to upgrade to the premium package they will be sadly mistaken as our money is going toward electricity and petrol increases which is forced upon us.
I would like to know what is DSTV going to do about it!!!???
I seriously think that the public should take a stand and boycott DSTV for a month or two and see how they feel when it hits them in the pocket.
