Family and I decided to go to Cresta to watch Fast and Furious 6, this morning for the 11.15, booked the tickets at self help, bought our pop corn and drinks and went to our movie. The usher looked at our ticket shook his head and then his finger and said my son was not of age and he could not go in. I told him that we the parents and we are fine with him watching the movie, he said that we must take it up with the manager on duty. At that stage we put our drinks on his table so we could sort the matter out he told us, we must move our stuff because he is " trying to work here". I told him I have a right as a parent to make a decision on what I think my son can and can't watch, he told me I have no rights! Really! The manager on duty told us that it is Ster Kinekor policy, and we could not go in. I told him that I have taken my son too various movies that were PG 13 and as long as the parent was with the child I have had no problem before. We just moved here from Durban and Gateway which is by far superior to Cresta never had an issue. So why does one movie house have one policy and the other another. My son was very let down he loves the fast and furious movies. Highly upset.
