I joined SA Beauty in 2007 and paid R12 000 cash for a portfolio, which was about only 24 prints and the other 2 shoots were on disc which I had to purchase at R150 per disc. I was promised by Robin a shoot to any destination of my choice at their costs for a shoot and a cover page of a magazine which never transpired. The other shoot took place at a venue where I had to pay to stay the night. I never ever received the magazine after requesting it on numerous occasions or the pics or the other promised photo shoots. I found it to be ridiculous that I paid all that money upfront for photos which would have cost me about R80 if I printed it at photo first. I was desperate for a career in modelling and for exposure, which all failed and I lost money that I could not afford to spend. I would like a full refund for breach of contract and for all the dissapointment caused which has left me with a low self esteem.
When you are selected to participate in shoots then it should never be at your own expense, or even to pay for a dream which had never come true as yet.
Please advise me as to how to go about receiving my monies back. The most expensive package for a few photos. Lousy
