DSTV cuts you off when you are in credit

This is about the 5th time in a year that my account has been suspended while I'm still in credit. I have more than one decoder, including 2 for my guests, so if I have no guests, those are off. Makes sence? Yet I continually get cut off while I'm in credit on my account, and often in the middle of the night!

Every time I complain about this, they apologise, reverse the disconnection fee, and get it back on.

Every time I ask the call centre to log a report so that this does not happen in the future, yet here we are again.

The call centre is now closed, my kids and guests can't watch their news, sport and weekend cartoons.

The call to DSTV lasts for ages. Lots of empty promises. Often I have to call more than once.

The other hassle, related to this, is that because 2 of the decoders used to be linked through extra view, I can't connect or disconnect my services online. Purely because I USED TO HAVE EXTRA VIEW?? It appears that no technology in the world can fix this glitch?

Is it possible that Multichoice gets a percentage of the cost of the cost of my call from the service provider and that is the reason they make dealing with them so difficult? I can't fathom another reason.
