My husband and I attended the Bon Jovi concert at FNB stadium on Saturday night. The band was great! But it was a bit disappointing that the sound quality was not up to scratch (especially compared to Metallica!) A lot of people left the concert before it was over. It's a pity, considering that tickets are not cheap!
The experience inside the stadium was great with regards to ticket scanning, food and toilet ques. (There were no ques)
Driving out of the stadium was a nightmare! We waited in a que for over an hour. There seem to be a lot of Metro/JMPD on the roads outside the stadium (which is great) but maybe there could be more inside the parking lots providing directions. No-one really seemed to know where to exit the stadium grounds and cars were causing traffic jams all over the parking lots. Apparently the portable gates had not been opened on the one side, so there was a long line of cars that couldn't get out, and there was no space to turn around and go to the other exits.
When you pay what you do for a concert ticket, you expect a certain level of "service".
