I moved in to a renting cottage in Forest Hill 1 feb 2013.
I had paid the agency a double deposit and one months rent for occupation.
When we moved in we noticed that there were various damages to the property:
Broken windows, broken door handles, walls not painted and full of holes, broken tiles, hot water taps not producing hot water, ceiling in bad condition, electrical plugs not working of which I faxed a notice to the agency to come and repair as per the lease agreement signed that I should do before 30 days of noticing the damages.
The owner of the agency has been extremely abrupt and rude regarding the repairs for the above mentioned, he threatens to evict my husband and I, and states that we should move out and he will thereafter pay our deposit back.
Up to date nothing has been done about the damages and he expects full rent for the property every month.
this is becoming annoying as he threatens to Evict us out.
Please help/ advise what i should do?
