when I moved into a flat that was rented out by harcourts still bay I was told that they were not given time to clean the place properly. so I told them that because I am moving in there that I wil clean the place then myself. so I cleaned the carpets but there was some stains that wouln't come out. the previuos tenant nwas a young lady with a dog that stayed in the flat with her.
later there also was a roof leak and I reported it to them, they took about a month to fix the leak and the celling was damaged already. I also reported that the flat is very damp and that the paint on the window ledge is starting to bubble, even when you open all the windows and door of the flat it still stays damp.
now that my lease is over now they say that i will be held responsible for the mat with the stains, but he wasn't even there when we moved in. I had dogs but i made a point to keep them outside. my dogs had a kennel outside and that is where they slept. when we moved in there was fleas in the bedroom and outside, but now I am being held resposible for the fumigasion of the flat and now they do not want to give my deposit back.
