Last year I rented a student apartment with Kumi Real Estate and my lease was until the 30th of November 2012. I moved out in October 2012 because I finished university early. On the contract it states that I would get my deposit back 2 weeks after my lease ended which would be on the second week of December 2012. The problem is I never got it back. When I moved out I followed all the sign out guidelines and everything was in good condition. She contacted me after I wrote her many times saying she would make the deposit soon but she deducted an amount from the deposit that she says was due to broken items in the apartment which I don't know about because my sign-out sheet showed everything was in the same condition as when I moved in. And she charged an exit fee that was never mentioned on the lease and she never mentioned. It has now passed four months and I still have not received my deposit. I have emailed her and tried calling her but I never get a response. I don't know what to do.
