We rented a place to stay and Jeffrey`s Bay in the Eastern Cape we had to pay the full value upfront. the photo`s that were sent to us showed a nice view over the ocean, double beds a braai and everything that is nice. upon arrival (we travveled 1400 km by car to Jeffrey`s bay) Trudie told us that there are a person (persons) staying on the premises this was never disclosed. there wasn`t enough beds for my Family and my grandmother (we are 3 audults and two kids). the beds where old hostel type of beds. urine marks on the floor. no braai, no view over the sea and people sharing our accomadation. i have photo`s to back this up
my wife then phoned Trudie and told her that we can`t stay in a place that we have to share with complete strangers. Trudie then said that the place met there standards and that they will not be able to refund us. we then had to look for alternative accomadation and pay additional money to stay at Bed and Breakfast places and hotels we had to cut our holiday short by a week due to no accomadation and funds.
