I thought i was making a financial investment when i bought a unit Dec 2012 at Crescendo in Noordwyk, Midrand. It has so far been nothing but a nightmare with issues ranging from constant electricity blackouts (which M&T conually distances its self from) and the apartment being short of of just falling apart! The taps are leaking, door is chapped, paint is peeling, roof is leaking... thats just what i can recall from the top of my head. I have informed M&T -their foremen come into my apartment, smear varnish over the door, "fix" the leak, which started up a week later, etc.
In all of this frustration, Ive just gotten off the phone with Maritza frm M&T who boldly tells me that i now have to take time off WORK to supervise the repair guys(?!) I cannot believe the audacity of M&T feeling like they can hold me to ransom in saying that unless i sacrifice and time off work, they will not continue doing any more work on THEIR shoddy apartment-whose fault is this??
i didnt bargain on buying a badly constructed apartment, the least these people can do is to ensure that its repaired satisfactorily without impacting my life!
