We rented a house from Tommy arranging to move in the last week of Jan, he started sms'ing to said that if we dont pay all the money NOW we will Loose the house, that after the lease contract was signed accordng to, we paid a deposit, Tommy kept on pushing us to move earlier or else he will rent the property to someone else, i got hold of the owner and she said that all is in order to move on the 18th, Tommy didnt like that as Agent. He provided me with his Personal Banking details to deposit money into, i got suspitious, I found out that he is NOT a real estate agent and NOT registered as a active agent. He got upset with us when we mentioned that the owner said that we can move in on the 18th. He requested the keys and our banking details to refund the deposit, we insisted on cash! the same day (today) he got other tenants to move in. The owner of the property is unaware that he is Unregistered and NOT a real estate agent, and unaware that the money (her money) gets paid into his personal savings account. We broke all ties with him, he's ignores any communication, I will report him. He said that other tenants had to move in in December but couldnt because the kid died???
