Desiree Lategan t/a Ocean Properties I used as an agent to get tenants. She had her own Lease Agreements and gave me her mandate that she would find the tenants and the rentals will come to the owner and she would keep the deposits. When the Lease comes to and end she would find all sorts of excuses not to pay the tenants deposits. She managed 6 properties and in total have R70 000, 00 just in deposits. When I tried to get hold of her, she will not answer her phone, she was not on whatsapp, off facebook and then I heard she was in jail. I sit with the tenants who entrusted their deposits to her and now I sit with the tenants and have to eliminate the rental increase for 2018 so that the people can build up a deposit in order to move on. Agents should have a privvy seal and should show their FFC before they use any agent be in for rental or sale. This women is a pastor!
