I rented a property through Duvel Realty last year and had to give early notice. The agency invoiced me early termination of contract. I gave the agent more than 30 days notice and a tenant was find within in two weeks. The agent went ahead and invoiced me an amount equal to 1 months rent for alleged expenses. When I asked for proof of their costs the agency ignored me and went ahead to claim from the Payprop insurance company for loss suffered. The insurance paid out the money to Duvel Realty without the knowledge of the owner. The agency charged me for losses which I have no right to see and they are just getting away with this. The Payprop insurance company contacted me to recover the payout, so guess what. I am losing the deposit on the Payprop insurance as well as the amount they now claiming form me. Please be careful of this agency. When I was trying to put up a fight with David Raath, he was rude, arrogant and a bully.
