I made the mistake of renting a cottage from Just Letting Melville from Jeanette. This woman has absolutely no idea what she is doing! Firstly she loses my application form because there is absolutely no order in the office, than a few days later after signing the contract she sends me a new contract because the initial one she sent was defected as she failed to include specific annexures. She than tries to get me to sign this contract only to find out that there are vital conditions and terms of the cottage that she omitted informing me. When confronted about this she shifts the blame completely to the landlord, whom i had spoken to and had told me she (Jeanette) has all this information. Unfortunately for me one of the conditions of the cottage was that it was gas run, which due to an incidence that occurred to me personally, i am not willing or able to stay in a place run by gas. The icing on the cake is after having cancelled the contract and moved after only two weeks, Jeanette is now trying to make me pay for the cleaning of the cottage, which i had complained about when I moved in. And electricity to the value of over R100 when i had never cooked or used ant appliances.
