This is partly my fault because I assumed that should you want to terminate your lease it should be the same as all other property letting companies out there where you would pay 1 months rental and give 30 days notice that you will be leaving. As I read my lease this morning its telling me that should I want to terminate my lease then I need to pay 3 months rental, pay landlords commision and an amount of R1500 for costs incurred by the landlord to get a replacement for my apartment. Whatever you do, READ a lease from Rawson properties carefuly before signing - I was stupid enough not to.
