I was interested in buying a house through Fine and Country real estate agents during November of 2012. After viewing the house me and my wife decided to continue with the purchase. We contacted our finance house to start the procedure for the home loan. We were informed that the home loan was not approved and we informed Fine and Country of this. Fine and Country insisted that this was not true and a week or so later an attorney contacted me to inform me that Fine and Country was planning on pursuing legal action against me. I informed the attorney that the home loan was not approved and that no legal actions could be taken as the contract stated that that the sale was only final after my loan was approved. The attorney ended the call and I never heard from them again. In January 2014 I saw that there was a judgement on my credit name concerning the fore mentioned transaction. I phoned the attorney again and again informed him that he acted on false information. He told me that he would speak to Fine and Country but no word from them after that. I will now pursue legal action.
