OUTRAGOUS BILLING AND REFUSAL TO RETURN DEPOSIT

Pretor Estates let me move into a flat with a damaged door and told the handyman to force the door shut behind him. The rental agent never once helped me during the time when I was trying to view the flat. I had to give Pretor notice last month and find a more suitable apartment, as my mom became very ill and will now have to live with myself and my children. I gave Pretor a month's notice, explaining that I have to move out due to circumstances that are beyond my control. I was fined for only paying my rent on the 5th of last month and now they refuse to return my deposit. I don't have money to pay the fine that they have billed me with and it keeps escalating rapidly. I am on my own with my two children and the deposit they are refusing to pay out to me is over R6 000.00. I have pleaded with them, explaining that I am a single mom, but they will not listen. The service is APPALLING and they are cruel in their dealings. I don't ever want to deal with them again.
