Rawson holds the deposit paid by my ex tenant, who gave me 2 months notice in May 2013. The tenant only moved out beginning of September and did not pay rent for July or August. There was also monies owed in arrears and damage to furniture etc. The tenant owes me in total about R20, 000 and told Mr van Der Lith to pay me the deposit of now close to R11, 000. This instruction was given to him in September 2013 and v d Lith is still refusing to pay me the deposit although he has no grounds to withhold it.
