I applied for rental of a flat, after I did all the paper work from my side, made it clear that I am available at any time to come and view since I knew the flat complex and wanted to rent. I responded with in 10 minutes after the flat was advertised. The viewing was organised for the next week. She said she will sent me the last papers about the deposit.
The next email came to say sorry the flat has been rented to someone else. She is cancelling the viewing.
I phoned the office to report this unprofessional manner of dealing with the rental, since if I knew the deposit will secure the place I would have done so, but she insisted that I must first view the place, and since that was the appointment time she made, I waited. Mr Johan d Bruin was going to look into it and get back to me. And I am still waiting for him too.
This very unprofessional and not the way I see it needs to run.
Applications should all be handled in order and in the same way.
