I've been a tenant at 170 Theo's Place, City Property Pretoria from 01/02/2012 to 08/08/2013.When I moved into the flat there were several defects including a kitchen carpet which was damaged. The Building manager told me not to worry as they were the previous tenant's faults and all will be repaired which they never did but others. They came on the 11/03/2013 to do Unit inspection and the carpet was not repaired yet and they gave me inspection document written:( Since tenant move in carpet never being cleaned and its damaged. The unit is in good condition. Carpet to be replaced)
When I move out they charged me for the carpet they never replaced of which was the previous tenant's fault. And surprisingly they also charged me for the cleaning of a carpet, How can they charge for the cleaning and again for the changing of carpet at the same time of which was not my fault
