Seeing that Milieu sold a property close to my house, I decided to contact them regarding my dad's property in Durbanville. My mom recently passed away and my dad was suffering while staying in the house they shared for nearly 40 years.
I phoned the owner, he handed the phone to one of his agents, she took my number and promised to phone me. Then... nothing. I phoned the owner again the next day, he took my number and confirmed that another agent working in the area will phone me in a few hours. That ALSO didn't happen. I phoned their offices and told the receptionist that I'm not happy with their lack of service.
It wasn't 10 minutes before the agent in question phoned me, and told me how BUSY she was. Too busy to even make a call. Wow.
So, despite the fact that her boss asked her to phone me, she and her colleague decided they were way too busy for new business. That, despite the fact that agents complain that they don't have enough "stock" in the Durbanville area!
One thing I know for sure: Should I decide to sell my house, I would give it to any agent, but certainly NOT Milieu. They might be too busy handpicking what properties they feel like paying attention to
