My small bathroom window to broke by accident at my flat... they came to do the repairs and yesterday I was shocked when I got a bill of R580 for just a small window which costs less that R130. I calle dthe office this morning and I was told that they use CONTRACTORS, that's why the bill is so high. I do not understand why I as the tenant must pay for a contractor when I services must be done at my flat, I rent from City Property, they should be responsible for hiring people who can do maintenance in our flats. It's very unfair that I must pay so much money for Contractors when they should be paying them and i only pay for damages.
