Security Deposit Refund

Hi There,

I have been renting with the Centurion Real Estate and I recently moved out on the 31st of August 2013 because I bought a new place for myself and family. The inspection was done when I first moved into the the Real Estate Property and there were many things that needed to be repaired but was never repaired. Now, when I moved out the agent (Mariana) is holding on/ delaying the deposit repayment because there is a carpet damage that needs to be repaired but the damage has always been there before I moved in. Mariana sent me an sms on the 9th of September 2013 stating that the money will deposited into my account around the 14th of September 2014- already it's the 18th 0f September 2013 and there is no money deposited into my account.

I have been requesting since the 15th as to when the money will be paid back by sending sms's and the only respose I received was that they are waiting for the carpet quotation. I then explained to them that the ispection list I have mentions that the carpet was faulty when I moved in and now Mariana (Agent) doesn't respnd to my sms's emails and sms's.
