I have been leasing my property through just letting for a year now and have experienced appalling service. I have paid for works to be done, and not all proof has been submitted to me, they have told the tenant that there electricity deposit was handed over to myself (nonsense and no proof), they have refunded me my rent secure in order to avoid honoring there insurance that I paid them for. They have not been forwarding the tenant with the water accounts monthly and when confronted they advised the tenant to short pay me and pay the outstanding amount (so professional). further to this they have not yet done an out inspection on the property so that the tenants deposit can be released. I have previously reported this and Melanie called me to provide solutions, but it seems that the poor performance comes from the top down. The tenants have had the electricity cut off on many occasions due to the water account not being paid on time and this posses a concern for landlords as the tenants don't want to rent due to this type of service. It seems that they are only interested in receiving there monthly commission and not doing anything to earn it.
