I have had the most horrible experience with Rindi Estate Agency based in Melville. I moved into one of their units in November 2012, filled in a property inspection report as required and returned it within the stipulated time. One of the issues was that there was water seeping into the cupboard beneath the sink which had also caused brown water marks on the cupboard walls.
About 2 months later, the kitchen tap just popped off for no reason, water gushed everywhere. I immediately notified Rindi and when the landlord came, she was rude and said it was my responsibility to fix this as i hadn't filled in an inspection report. I showed her a copy and she said she would take it up with the Agency and fixed the tap (not the leak).
I was asked to move out end of June 2013 as they had sold the place and the new owner will reside there. They said it would take 30 days to receive my deposit, but when i called on 29 July 2013, they're now saying they will deduct the cost of fixing the cupboard from water damage as I never reported it. I am frustrated with this company as they consistently pass blame and refuse to accept responsibility for their incompetence. This is not the first issue
