Deposit paid but fault list not attended to!!

I paid the deposit for the flat im renting by Eshcol Estates in january 31st, people broke into the flat on the 3rd of february. i went to the agency on the 4th of feb to give them the fault list and report the break in.
we where told by Eshcol to do what we need to do to keep us safe so we installed lockes around the windows and the door. the fault list contains of: palment in kictchen is broken, the door in the 2nd bedroom has a hole in, the stove is completely broken, there is holes in the walls and other small things.by today we have still not heard anything from Eshcol about fixing the faults in the flat. they want to increase my rent by the end of july and i am not willing to pay the increase as i have asked numerous times with calls and emails pleading for assistance. i am fed up with their service how do they expect me to pay them more if they cant even fix or rectify the faults in the flat.
very unhappy about this and will take this matter further if i have to.
