Dealing with this rental agency has been nothing short of unpleasant. My husdband and I moved into Andev Mews in April of 2012, even went so far as to pay the deposit plus two months rent in advcance. Then late last year we were advised that we needed to pay outstanding amounts from February 2012? Upon taking up the grievances we had with them (bearing in mind that there were issues with the unit that had not been repaired at the time and we were already staying in the unit for a period of 7 months). We were advised that the matter would be looked into. Since then nothing has happened and we have since put in our notice to vacate the premises (taking into consideration other incidents occurring within the complex). we had our representative send a notice of termination of the lease to which the landlord and the agaency agreed to, and even mentioned that they could keep the deposit and we would not pay the rent for the last month. All was well until we get notification that we must now pay the rent for this month? Seriously? poor service received, poor service delivery on the part of sotheby's/landlord and eventhough they have our deposit, they now want our rent too???
