This agent in question took my deposit for a property. No contracts have been signed yet. A day later I changed my mind regarding the property and he is now withholding my deposit.
It is my legal right, in terms of the CPA, to change my mind and I have not yet signed a contract. He is no longer responding to my emails. I have now gotten a lawyer which will pursue him. Do not deal with this agent as they are not conducting business according to the law.
Next stop is the Rental Housing tribunal.
