Warning. Just letting Westville believe they are above the law and will treat you as such.
i stay in a property for approx. seven years. The original franchisee pass away and all monies in account were frozen. The file was bought by westville. Last year the lease was renewed ending 31 March 2013.
The entire year i paid rent and electricity to them i never got an invoice for the amounts owing' so i over paid just in case.
Since handing over the key i cannot get monies owed to me.
According the the Rental housing Act.
1. The have to give you a copy of the lease agreement. ( Never received}
2. Invoice you for payments. (Never received)
3. Receipt you for payments. ( Never received.)
4. Deposit should be settled in 14 After vacating of property. ( Now two, month).
Melanie Hall, who i might add is the owner of just letting westville, is of the mind set that it is my duty to get invoices and receipts. All monies they owe me, she can blame anybody else, but her self. Her attitude to tenants that have NEVER been late with any payment and NEVER given any reason for any problem, is you i have the money and thats all that matters.
