We have signed a contract with them to, let out our residential unit a few years ago.
Two months ago we just stop receiving rental income.
We contacted them to find why our unit is empty, they replied and said that a different managing agent took over the building... This response was confusing, since we had a contract with them as rental agents, and this has nothing to do with whom the Managing agent are.
I then asked them if I could collect the key from their offices, and they replied and said they have no idea to where my house keys are, they replied and said; that it is most probably at the Gate; and this is where tenants usually leave the key after moving out.
To me, as a rental unit owner, this type of careless behavior and disregard for my property is unacceptable, they could have communicated this information in advance, that I could have made arrangements, to get a new tenant in time, and apart from this they didn't have the decency to keep my keys in a safe place. I'm on my way to the property now and just hope that no one is squatting inside my unit since the keys were unattended for an extended amount of time.
