Dormehl approached my husband and I with a buyer for our property. We signed the sale agreement with a clause that the buyer was to pay a deposit within /- 12 days of signing the agreement. Dormehl did not ask the purchaser for proof of deposit. Dormehl did not communicate with us that the deposit was not paid, it was only until my husband contacted the transferring attorneys to ask if the deposit was paid, that we realized that it was not. This was /- 22 days after the agreement was signed. Dormehl failed to inform us the deposit was not paid during those /- 22 days, but did call to ask if the purchaser can move in earlier than transfer date. Further to this we gave the purchaser an extension of /- 18 days to pay the deposit which he failed to do so, Dormehl still failed to communicate with us during the extensions period. The deal fell through. I am not impressed with Dormehl Pinetown. They claim to be on top of their service. We are now sitting with the repercussion of a fallen sale and "don't care attitude" of the agents. Someone needs to be responsible for the time we lost during this futile business relationship. We did not even receive apology. Shame on you Dormehl.
