I purchased property through rba homes with a sale agent by the name of Bongane who was very nice at first when he wanted my business. He explained to me verbally that my house was going to come complete with all the fittings and all i have to do is to sign up the contract and he was going to help apply for finance with different banks. Bongane came back saying my application has been approved but i have to pay R23000.00 deposit which i agreed provided the house was going to be completed as agreed and to my shocking surprise i was given a house with incomplete fittings when i complained i was told that i have signed and the house is registered in my name and had no choice but accept it as it, i started receiving letter of demand from their lawyers as well. Now im left with a R23000.00 deposit which i dont know how im going to raise as i had to go and borrow more money to finish the fittings and rba still bothers me with their their deposit, not prepared to take accountability that i was misled a consumer by their sales agent.
