On 17/04/2013 I tried to phone SASSA for the first time to inquire about my mother's SASSA money to be paid into her account. They eventually answerd the phone on 18/04/2013 after wasting a whole day holding on and phoning back numerous times. They told me to phone back on 29/04/2013 as they only make the changes on this spacific day according to them no other day. I have been trying to get through to speak to a consultant to assist me with my inquiry regarding the payment for the end of the month into my mother's account but since this morning they could not manage to answer the phone. If the line is not busy, the machine only tells me to hold on for the next available consultant. I feel that if SASSA is such a big orginisation and all the old people who wants their money to be paid into their accounts and can only phone on this spacific day, why are there not enough consultants to assist everybody without having to hold on the line for almost half an hour at a time and still not being assisted. Why must you phone for the changes to be made, why cant they change it at the SASSA offices itself. How must I confirm my mother's details on this day if nobody answers the phone to assist me
