No case number - left with a car written off

I don't even know why I am posting this as i have read most of the metro police complaints are not responded to.
I need my case number. i have been waiting more than a week. Why are public servants so heartless? I was not in a state to take any details after the accident and I don't have the officers name. 011490 1552 is useless please help me
