For the past 4 years we have done our own meter readings and emailed these to Tshwane, otherwise we get estimated readings which are always much higher than our actual usage.
For the last three months we have had estimated readings on our accounts even though we still email through meter readings. Upon calling them we were told that they don't get to all their emails in time for their billing cycle, we should phone through our meter readings. I spent approximately 4 hours at the beginning of the month 'holding' to try and phone through our meter readings, and still haven't been able to reach anyone by telephone.
So, again this month our readings are estimated much higher than the actual usage!!! I have emailed queries to their customer service email address, but no one gets back to us.
What do we do now??? Just keep on paying for more electricity and water usage every month???
