My electricity was cut off this morning, on a FRIDAY (15/02/2013). The notice claiming that there is an amount of R462.25 outstanding on my account.

I made payment of R2200 on the 3rd February (03/02/2013) so I want to find out why the power was cut???

I phoned the call centre and after holding for most of the afternoon. I got told by the agent that eventually answered that she cant help me!!! WHY EVEN BOTHER TO HAVE A CALL CENTRE THEN!!!

The agent told me that I have to speak to the accounts department on 0119991926 or 0119990478. I phoned those numbers non stop for almost two hours... it just rings and nobody bother to answer!!! I'm at work and cant just pack up and leave to go and sort this out in person... some of us work for a living!!!

I think the Ekurhuleni is so spiteful to cut power on a Friday and not have anyone available to answer the phones so that the issue can be resolved. So now I will have to be without power for the whole weekend because of a trigger happy employee that didnt bother to do his job correctly!

The level of service coming from the Ekurhuleni is SHOCKING!!!
