Got a Notice before summons and a fine of R 300 from Vereeniging Traffic Department in December claiming I "stopped vehicle GP (my registration number) on the roadway or shoulder in contravention of a road traffic sign". The description of the vehicle is not mine, in other words it's not my vehicle. And it claims this happened on 1 November 2012.
First of all it's not my vehicle, although it's my registration number, and secondly I wasn't near Vereeniging on this date... that I know for a fact.
I checked on payfine, but there's no photo.
I phoned the traffic department, they told me the person I should speak to is on leave and nobody can help me, yet I must pay this fine by 15 January 2013. Is there anybody that can help please?
