I am a rent paying tenant a Friendship Town under Ithemba Properties, the unit for loading the power is defective therefore i cannot load power. I lodged a complain with the property manager who logged a call with City Power yesterday morning. We have made several calls to the Customer Care highlighting that there is no power to bath, iron or cook food but all they can reply is that somebody is coming. Today morning they say somebody attend at 3am, but there was no note of confirmation left at door, i doubt anybody did come at that hour. I and the property Manager called several times today as well but to no joy. City Power board members give a about those who are affected by there poor service whereby kids cannot go to school or parents to work due to there own equipment which is defective. Then there is cold products which go spoilt due to the fridge being off so are they willing to compensate as it is through there equipments fault. and there poor customer service. I cahllenge the CEO of City Power to respond to this complaint is heshe is human enough.
