I took my Mom (70) to Helen Joseph Breast Clinic yesterday and what a wonderful experience!!! Even before we went to the clinic, I emailed Dr Sarah Rayne several times, and she responded to each and every query I had. We were at the clinic all day yesterday, and ALL the necessary tests/mammograms/biopsies were performed in the most professional manner and it was FOR FREE!! My Mom was handled with the utmost dignity, respect and empathy ALL DAY LONG!! She did not even get such treatment from the private Specialist Surgeon who did her initial diagnosis!! Sadly, there are some people who complain about "no soap or toiletpaper" in the bathrooms, - and I think to myself how insignificant such a complaint is when your Mother has severe breast cancer?? Also, while I was waiting for all the tests to be done on my Mom, I saw how many "patients" walk into the clinic with entitlement attitudes/expectations and hostility towards the staff at the clinic!! Why?? I've decided that there is no better place to get treatment for breast cancer! Dr Sarah Rayne is an ANGEL and other staff like Natalie and Dr Louise at Mammo's are just awesome!
I will certainly recommend the clinic to anyone!! Thanks!
