I sold my property in Sharonlea and it registered in August 2013 then applied for my account to be closed and for my refund. They wanted proof of payment and registration documents from the attorney which I personally took to them. Then I enquired today as to when I can expect my refund, the accounts department says they did not receive any documentation from me and require these before I can get my refund. The strange thing here is that the same issue has occurred with my brother last year June and two other people I met at the municipality last year. All three have decided (after numerous re-visits and resubmitting their documents to write off their refunds. This municipality is simply throwing the documents away so that you get fed up and walk away loosing your refund in my books this is.
